We provide furniture removal in Ludgershall with a practical, labour-included approach for properties that need a tidy, dependable clear-out.
Ludgershall is around 17 minutes from central Andover (roughly 6.8 miles), which helps us keep bookings practical and responsive.
In Ludgershall, we regularly support both residential streets and business-side clearances, tailoring labour and vehicle size to the property setup.
For bulky household items, we can separate pieces that may suit local reuse or furniture routes such as Sho Space, Mylor & Mawes Ltd.
When suitable items can be passed on, we prioritise reuse routes such as Enham Trust Charity & Coffee Shop, Blue Cross charity shop, Andover before disposal.
For non-reusable material, we use recognised facilities including Andover Household Waste Recycling Centre and keep loads separated where practical.

If a piece of furniture is in decent condition, we always look at whether it can be reused rather than simply disposed of. That can mean keeping it in circulation for another household, which is often the best outcome for sofas, tables, cabinets and bedroom pieces that are still solid and usable.
When furniture is no longer suitable for reuse, we aim to direct it towards the right disposal route. Larger items can often be broken down, with recyclable parts separated where possible. For customers who want to check local disposal options, the Andover Household Waste Recycling Centre is the main reference point and can be found via Hampshire County Council.
Many Ludgershall customers book furniture removal to line up with a delivery or replacement day. If the new sofa, bed or dining set is due to arrive, timing the old item’s collection first helps keep the room clear and avoids a last-minute scramble. We can work with you to fit the removal around your schedule.
If you need furniture gone without the stress, we keep it simple: clear communication, careful removal and sensible timing around your day.
Pick up the phone - we are ready when you are.
We are often called by people in Ludgershall who have bulky furniture that is too awkward to deal with alone. That includes households clearing out a spare room, flats where the stairs or communal entrance make moving items difficult, and older customers who do not want to risk injury by lifting heavy pieces.
It is also a good fit if you are waiting for replacement furniture. If your new sofa, bed or dining set is arriving soon, we can remove the old one first so the room is ready when the delivery turns up. That saves time and helps avoid clutter on the day.
Landlords and letting agents also use this service when a tenant leaves behind furniture, or when a property needs clearing before re-marketing. We can remove single items, several pieces, or mixed bulky furniture from houses, bungalows, garages and upstairs rooms.
If you have a car too small for transport, no access to a van, or you simply cannot make repeated runs to the tip, we take that problem off your hands. We do the carrying, loading and disposal so you do not have to.

On the day, we arrive ready to lift and carry the furniture out safely, whether it is on the ground floor, upstairs or tucked away in a loft or garage.

Local knowledge
Ludgershall had 5,390 residents at the 2021 census and sits on the A342 between Devizes and Andover, next to Tidworth Camp. It is a straightforward run west for us.
The military has shaped the town more than anything else. The Salisbury Plain Training Area has occupied Windmill Hill since around 1898, Army land use spread westwards from 1939, and Corunna Barracks was demolished in 2015 to make way for military housing.
That matters practically. A lot of the housing here is service or ex-service accommodation, which is consistent and generally easy to work in — but anything on or near an active military site involves controlled access and a named contact rather than turning up. Say which you have when you enquire and we will make the arrangements in advance.
Ludgershall Castle survives as three large walls and extensive earthworks under English Heritage, with a fourteenth-century preaching cross in the centre. The A342 is the main route in; the old railway station closed in 1961 and now handles freight for military equipment.
At 6.8 miles and roughly 17 minutes from our base, the onward route is worked out before the van is loaded rather than after. Anything still usable is kept separate as we go, and only what is genuinely finished with goes to a household recycling centre.

We cannot promise any particular shop will accept a given item — that is always their call on the day — but sorting for reuse first is how we keep as much as possible out of the skip.
